February Newsletter - Aston Brass Band 2/21 at The R Park Tavern (Mardi Gras Party)
Sedated Friends and Fans,
     Slightly Sedated is taking a February break as one of our members recuperates from some medical issues, so the  "Aston Brass Band" takes center stage this month with a big Mardi Gras Party at the R Park Tavern on Sat. Feb. 21.  Fresh off their ticketed show at The Mill at Rockdale, Delco's best New Orleans style brass band let's the good times roll (les bon temps rouler) with jazzy brass band covers from the following bands: Rebirth, Dirty Dozen, Treme, Hot 8, Youngblood, Lucky Chops, Dejan's Olympia, Funky Spuds ... and more.  They'll also mix in some traditional Dixieland and 2nd Line music that delivers a "true taste of New Orleans" and we're even bringing the beads.  Hope you can come out to see us at The R Park Tavern on Sat. Feb. 21.

• Sat. Feb. 21 - (7:00-10:00) - "Aston Brass Band" at The R Park Tavern - Ridley Park, PA (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076206070900)
  One of Delco's hidden treasures, the R Park Tavern is a friendly and cozy neighborhood tavern with a delicious and varied pub grub menu that the locals rave about.  The "R Park" is easy to get to, located on Sellers Ave., just minutes from I-95 (Stewart Ave. exit).  "R Park" stands for Ridley Park of course, and we're hoping many of our Delco friends can make it out to enjoy the R Park hospitality, conviviality, food and drink, and our music.
• Thurs. Feb. 26 - "Aston Brass Band" at Fairacres Geriatric Center
  The Aston Brass occasionally plays at senior communities, and is available for concert performances.
